The Military Officers Association of America provides education assistance benefits to children of Military families.

The VFW provides service members and veterans with the financial assistance they need to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt.

The American Legion provides a number of scholarships to children who participate in their programs or meet specific VA disability requirements.

The Fry Scholarship is education assistance for children and dependents of Veterans. If your parent or spouse died in the line of duty or was a member of the Selected Reserve who died from a service-connected disability on or after September 11, 2001, you may qualify for this benefit.

Military Dependents Scholarship Program (MDS) provides financial aid for undergraduate students seeking a bachelor's degree or certificate of completion at any public or private college, university, or technical school in Arkansas who qualify as a spouse or dependent child* of an Arkansas resident who has been declared to be missing in action, killed in action, a prisoner of war, or killed on ordnance delivery, or a veteran who has been declared to be 100% totally and permanently disabled during, or as a result of, active military service.

The National Guard Association of Arkansas (NGAA) through its endowment and insurance program maintains funds to award annual scholarships to members of NGAA and the Enlisted Association of the Arkansas National Guard (EAANG) and their dependents. The endowment is managed by a board of directors selected from the NGAA and EAANG.

Our Military Kids recognizes the sacrifice of children of deployed National Guard, deployed Reserve, or post 9/11 combat-injured service members by offering extracurricular activity grants that build the child's self-confidence, enhance family wellness, and strengthen a shared sense of community.
